Refund & Return Policy – Manthan

At Manthan, we take immense pride in offering handcrafted and natural gemstones, crystals, and Rudrakshas, making each piece unique in shape, color, and energy. Due to the intrinsic nature of our products, we request you to carefully review the below policy before raising any return/exchange or refund request.

Return & Exchange Policy

While we always strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction, we cannot guarantee acceptance of every return, refund, or exchange request. Manthan reserves the right to accept, decline, or deny any request that does not align with the conditions mentioned below.

Eligibility

Returns or exchanges are accepted only if:

  • The order is damaged during transit,

  • You received an incorrect product,

  • Or the item is proven non-authentic by a recognised Government gemological institute (ISO certified or Internationally reputed).

Mandatory Videographic Proof

The Customer acknowledges and agrees that due to the nature of the products, the Company requires unedited videographic proof to process any return or exchange request.
This video must clearly show:

  • The unboxing process

  • The product, packaging, and certification

  • The defect/damage or mismatch

Failure to provide this video will make the Company unable to process any return/exchange request.
Submission of videographic evidence is a mandatory prerequisite.

Timeframe

  • All return/exchange requests must be raised within seven (07) days of receiving the product.

  • The item must be returned in original condition, including:

    • Certification

    • Packaging

    • Invoice

    • Accessories (if any)

Any tampering with the product or certification will result in an automatic rejection of the request.

Exclusions

We do not accept returns for the following categories unless damaged or incorrectly delivered:

  • Customized Jewellery

  • Crystal Bracelets

  • Loose Gemstones

  • Rudraksha Malas

  • Products received exactly as ordered

  • Any personalized/size-specific wearable

  • Energized or ritual-prepared items (if provided)

Due to the high possibility of product swapping with synthetic/low-quality items, we strictly do not accept returns for such categories unless supported with mandatory videographic proof and internal inspection.

Authenticity Guarantee

We encourage customers to verify the product’s authenticity at any Government-certified gemological laboratory.

If any gemstone or Rudraksha is proven synthetic/artificial, you are entitled to:

  • 100% refund,

  • or Return,

  • or Exchange—as preferred.

Refund Process

Once your return request is approved and the item is received and inspected, the refund will be:

  • Credited to the original/source payment method only

  • Processed within 10–12 working days, subject to banking delays and national holidays

You will receive an email confirmation upon:

  1. Receiving the returned item

  2. Approval or rejection of the refund after inspection

Note:
Refunds cannot be issued to any account other than the original payment source due to legal compliance.

For COD Orders

For orders placed using the Cash on Delivery (COD) method:

  • The Company may request additional verification documents (e.g., PAN card) for refunds above ₹2,00,000.

  • Refunds will be issued only after the customer provides correct bank details (cancelled cheque, passbook copy, etc.).

  • All details must match the original order information.

Failure to provide correct details may result in inability to process refunds.

Refund Mode Timelines

  • Prepaid Orders (Credit/Debit/Net Banking): 5–7 working days

  • COD Orders: 7–10 working days post bank detail verification

Delays due to bank/technical issues are outside the Company’s control.

Courier & Shipping Charges

  • Courier charges, VAT, duties, and shipping fees are non-refundable.

  • The Company does not arrange pickup for returns.

  • All return shipping costs must be borne by the customer.

Exclusions for Returns/Exchanges

The Company does not accept returns or exchanges in the following cases:

  • Change of Mind: Customer no longer wants the product

  • Minor imperfections: that do not affect quality or function

  • Color/Size variations: Natural products may have minor variations due to lighting, screen resolution, or natural formation

  • Incorrect size selection by the customer

Customers are strongly advised to review:

  • Product descriptions

  • Gemstone measurements

  • Size charts
    before purchase.

Cancellation Policy

Once an order is placed, cancellations are not permitted under any circumstances.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check your bank account

  2. Contact your credit card provider

  3. Contact your bank for processing delays

Sale Items

Products purchased under Sale, Discount, or Clearance are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Exchanges

We replace items only if defective or damaged upon receipt.
To request an exchange, you must email us at contact@manthancrystals.com within 7 days.

International Orders (Outside India)

  • Refunds for international orders will be processed within 40–45 days, only after receiving the returned item.

  • Customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or any charges imposed by your country are not our responsibility.

  • If the shipment is refused or cancelled after dispatch, the customer is responsible for all return-related duties and fees.

Customers must fill in correct product details & value for customs clearance during return. Missing or incorrect information may cause return failure.
